Attending Competitive Edge Football Camp is a great thing for our program.

  From the opening whistle, the coaching staff there initiates and stands by

 an attitude of "everyone is here to get better".  Coach Carrozzo has

assembled a great group of northern california college coaches...several of

our players, though not Division 1 prospects by any stretch of the

imagination, where able to make legitimate college contacts with several of

the coaches in attendance.  This was a huge bonus to us as it showed our

kids that hard work does in fact pay off.   We are very thankful to the

coaches at the camp for taking the time to let a few of our kids know that

football after high school does exist if you work hard enough at it.   We feel

the full contact experience that CEFB Camp provides puts us a couple weeks

ahead of our opponents who do not attend a camp of this nature.  We will

continue to participate as it is also a great team building activity for our kids.

From myself and the Sweetwater coaching staff and players, I want to thank
for your hard work and passion in putting on this camp.  The hardwork and
attentive care of your staff, trainers, and the host (CSUMB) was of the
highest care. I don't think our kids have had 3 squares in their lifetime,
the camp certainly put some pound in all of us...the meals were great. As
coaches we are always looking for ways to get our kids to realize what it
takes to win championships...we all play to win and as Paul Bear Bryan
said, "We never lose, we just run out of time." But never in my wildest
dreams did I think a camp would provide instant results that would lead us
and start us in the right direction. The drills sessions, the individual
team walk through time, and the 7 vs 7 and 11 on 11 competitions were
excellent in their intent to get the most out our kids, and allow us to
watch how they would compete. As evaluative session, each certainly served
its purpose. In the history of Sweetwater High School, this had never been
done before (attending a full contact camp), and not soon after we got
home (9 hour drive), we saw the differ in our kids team unity. And as soon
as school started (we are year-round and we started that Monday after the
camp) our workouts (weights and field) have been more intense and
heartfelt. I can truly say that this camp fullfilled our desires and more.
We would certainly return if you would have us.  It took a little bit of
hardwork to get their, but it was well worth it. Again, thank you for all
you do.

My only regret in attending the Competitive Edge Football Camp is that I
didn't do it sooner.  This was the first camp that the Palma High School
football team has ever attended.  It was a tremendous experience.  Coach
Carrozzo and his staff run a disciplined, organized and fun camp.  The King
of the Field Competition was memorable and the players continued to talk
about the camp all through summer workouts.  We are a better football
team because we attended the Competititive Edge Football Camp.

Thank you for a well organized camp! 

We accomplished everything I had hoped for and more.  Our program has a
large number of juniors that will be in their 1st year of varsity football.  Camp
gave them an opportunity to test their skills and strength against other varsity
players and teams.  At the same time our coaching staff was able to evaluate
our players and draw valuable conclusions about player strengths,
weaknesses, and position evaluation. 

The technique time and drills were well organized and each coach was
prepared to make the best use of valuable time.  Camp coaches were
attentive, demanding, and encouraging.  We were pleased with the position
tech periods.

The line and skill player competition was great.  It provided a change of pace
and some exciting competition for each team. 

The "camp stud" awards are well worth while.  The award is a good lift for
players and has had a carry over effect during summer work outs.

Overall camp competition was very good.  Each scrimmage created
challenges and opportunities.

This is a great camp.  Not only the coaches that are involved but the amount
of communication with the camp director and the other coaching participants
is outstanding.  We switched from another camp to be involved in the CEFB
camp and have not been sorry we did so.  Times and locations are convenient
for everybody with a variety of different options.  We are glad we made the
switch.

"Thank you so much for bringing a full contact camp to the Monterey Bay
Area. I thought you provided an excellent balance between drill time and live
work. The competitions on the third day helped alleviate the monotony that
can cast a shadow on that third day. We still have so far to go as a team,
but the camp gave a great chance to begin bonding together and teach the
young kids what varsity effort feels like.

The scrimmage time was limited and controlled, which helped us stay healthy.
 Check in was unbelievably smooth. The King of the Field competition was a
nice touch at the end. All in all, great job, keep up the good work.
