CALLING ALL FUTURE BASSMASTERS!!!!
Welcome to the Copperas Cove Jr. Bassmasters Web Site. The CCJB is a youth club associated with The Copperas Cove Bass Club. CCBC supplies the manpower and equipment necessary to hold a tournament and mentor the Jr. Bassmasters in everything from how and where to fish to how to conduct a meeting according to Roberts Rules of Order. The Jr. Bassmasters hold their own meetings and decide on when to have their tournaments, where they want to fish, how to manage funds and all other functions of running and maintaining a Bass Club. It is our goal to introduce kids from 3 to 18 to the sport of fishing and teach them some useful skills along the way. Teams consist of one child and one guardian and we try to the best of our ability to ensure non-boater teams will have a boat available. In the "Documents" section you will find rules and registration forms and the photo gallery has pictures from our tournaments. Come and join the fun in Central Texas and lets take some kids fishing!!!

STARTING OFF THE 2009 SEASON
Well Jr. Bassmasters it is about that time of year. March is proving to be a busy month with the Jr. Bassmasters State Tournament and the adult Top Six at Amisted so The Copperas Cove Jr. Bassmasters are going to kick off the 2009 season at Belton on Sunday April 5th. We will launch at Temple Lake Park at Safelight. Registeration will start around 0615 and there will be a pre-tournament brief prior to blast-off. The meeting will be held after weigh-in and the first order of business will be to elect the new officers. We will then need to make any changes to the by-laws and tournament rules and finally vote in the date for the May tournament. Hope to see you all there!!!

WELCOME NEW JR. BASSMASTERS CLUB
Attention Jr. Bassmasters,
Are you tired of being cooped up in the house? Don't really want to wait until April to go fishing? You are in luck!!! Dave and Alec Cochrane had started a new Jr. Bassmasters Club in Round Rock with the help of the Tonkawa Bass Club!!! The Round Rock Junior Bass Club has two upcoming tournaments schedualed and they are open to all. January 25th at Lake Travis with a Mannsfield Dam launch and Lake Travis February 15th with a Jonestown Park Ramp #3 launch. Times will be Safellight to noon.
