Camden County American Legion Baseball Final Report 2009 

51 teams participated in The 2009 Camden County American Legion Baseball season in the Senior, Junior, Sophomore, and Freshman Divisions.   

Senior Division:

MT Laurel 2009 Camden County Senior Division Champions

Haddon Heights Post 149 was runner-up in Senior Division.

Brooklawn Post 72-league was playoff winner for final spot in state playoffs. 

Haddon Heights Post 149 was District 3 champion at Moody Park in Ewing Twp. Mercer County. Advancing to state finals. 

Brooklawn Post72 and MT Laurel at District 4 - Tom’s River East. Ocean County

MT Laurel district 4 champion, advancing to the state finals.Brooklawn Post 72 was eliminated. 

State Finals – Teenier Field Union County. MT Laurel – Runner-up State Finals, Haddon Heights eliminated. 

MT Laurel – advancing to American Legion Mid – Atlantic regional Morgantown West Virginia.

MT Laurel lost to Mt. Airy MD. in final game 

 

Junior division:

MT Laurel Black Camden County North Division champions 

Brooklawn Post 72 Camden County South Division champions  

Brooklawn Post 72, Haddon Heights Post 149, Cherry Hill Post 372 and MT Laurel automatic spots to the states districts. 

MT Holly league playoff winner for final spot in state district. 

Mount Laurel Black and Mount Holly at District 3 Community Park North Brunswick.

Mount Laurel Black - District 3 champion, Mount Holly eliminated. 

District 2 Roselle Park Union County Haddon Heights Post 149 runners –up. 

Brooklawn Post 72, Cherry Hill Post 372 at District 4 Wall Townships.

Brooklawn Post 72 District 4 champions, Cherry Hill Post 372 eliminated.  

State finals at Veterans Memorial field Linden. Haddon Heights Post 149 and MT Laurel Black runner-up, Brooklawn Post 72 eliminated.

MID-Atlantic Junior Regional at veterans Memorial field Linden.

MT Laurel Black 2009 MID-Atlantic Champion, Haddon Heights Post 149 Eliminated.

 

Sophomore Division:

MT Laurel Camden County Sophomore Champions.

MT Laurel, Cherry Hill, Washington TWP., and Florence advance to state districts at East Brunswick.MT Laurel, Cherry Hill and Florence were eliminated state districts.Washington TWP. Runner – up state districts.  

State finals Roselle Park  -

Washington TWP. Post 521 State Champion

MVP-Dave Young Washington TWP Post 521      

 

Freshmen Division: MT Holly Camden County Freshmen Champion

State Finals at MT Laurel – 7 team double elimination.MT Holly, Gibbsboro post 371 Marlton, Cherry Hill Post 372, MT Laurel Black, MT Laurel Red, Gloucester TWP. Post 281.

Freshmen State Champion: MT Holly.

Freshmen State Runner –up: Gibbsboro Post 371

Freshmen MVP-Mason Anderson MT Holly

Welcome to the Camden County American Legion web site. This site has been set up to help maintain schedules, rankings and if teams desire, team web pages.

The information found here is official with the exeption of standings. Standings will be adjusted for forfiets, penalties etc. by the age appropriate commisioner and chairman.

Each team should check this site every other day to varify that scores and schedules have been entered/adjusted properly. Failure to report games scores within three days shall be deemed as a forfiet. Teams must also report game scores to the local papers.
