Our practices for the summer are Mondays at Ephrata and Wednesdays at Larson School on the base from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. September leads us to a change in practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Keith has scheduled some great time off in July and August for the team to accomodate family vacations or camp time that kids can attend other areas of interest.
Our first tournament is in Spokane is the Inland SSC Elite Challenge . Information will be on the www.spokanesoccerclub.com. The date is June 20-21. I Will be looking into a Team hotel for this tournament. I would appreciate an email if you are in need of a hotel to stay at. I realize people may have family to stay with, so a quick email will help me plan. Our second tournament is in Burlington The Skagit River Cup $500 on July 24-26. Information can be found on www.pugetsoundsocceradademy.com. I have asked for a block of rooms for our team. Please let me know if you need a room, as hotels in Burlington can be difficult to get and the close ones to the field go quick. Our Third tournament is the Seatac Cup $475 on August 21-23 At Stafire Sports Complex in Tukwila. The website for information is www. HPFCPremier.com. Remember, all tournaments are mandatory and please plan accordingly.
Monday, I will be at the practice at 7pm to 7:30 to pick up everyones paper work and checks. It is mandatory to have the medical releases and registration for the kids to start out the new season under our liability insurance.
I NEED: 2 copies of the birth certificates of each child
Registration forms filled out so that Monika can notorize them at the practice on Monday,
a check for $250 or deposit with WRITTEN explanation of payment plan. All Payments to be made by August.
Parent Code of conduct signed and turned in,
2 Medical Releases Filled out completely
Scholarship Requests
Conflict form filled out in order to get an Excused Absent
At this time I have less than 50% of everything I need.

Pay for our first tournament out of our family money as the team does not have enough money to cover our expenses...
which leads me to fundraising.
FINANCES: We need to move forward and raise money for tournaments for the summer $1300, field / light rental costs for the winter, winter wenatchee league $375, Coaches hotels approximately at least $1000 for summer and state cup and referee fees at times. Bottom line , we need money with dues being $250, uniforms and backpacks $238 hitting us personally this first month. Kelly Spencer has graciously stepped up for organizing the fundraiser that we need to get started on in June. It is always easier to fundraise in the summer than in the very COLD winter.
Our first fundraiser will be asking for Sponsors. Each parent is asked to get a sponsor for our team. Ask your boss, a company in town, ask a neighbor or family. Sponsorships can be bought from $50 to $1000. . If each parent gets a $300 sponsor we have $4500 instantly in June!!!!! Instruction handout will be given on Monday at the practice. Our second fundraiser will be a yard sale ( usually good for $1000) not bad for your junk so please save your stuff and a combo car wash good for another $800+++++ in June. Information will be sent out when the location and time are set. The Team will be voting on a Buy Out option in the near future in a parent meeting with me. A Buy Out allows those not able to help with fundraising or are gone for the weekend to pay the team for their share. This will keep all things fair TIME = MONEY.
Uniforms- there will be fittings after practices this next week to help order uniforms and sizes. Hopefully the plan is to have them for the June Tournaments.
