  CATTS History  
 

Program History at a Glance
CATTS was first opened in January of 1991 in an upstairs studio which was approximately 1900 square feet. I was an assistant coach at that time until I acquired the business in June of 1993. CATTS continued to grow and in 1996 relocated to a 3600 square foot facility located at 401 Ash. It was also at this time that CATTS participated in its first competitive season with our Level 4 team placing 4th at the State Meet. When CATTS fall enrollment for 1999 was at 250+ students a new facility seemed inevitable. Our new gym was constructed and we moved into it December 2000. It has 8400 square feet of usable space which includes a preschool & dance area, 4 high beams, 3 low beams, 2 full sets of uneven bars, men's rings, a full-size spring floor, 4 circuit bar station, tumble trak, inground tramp, and a foam block pit with beam, vault, tumbling, and pit bar. This facility will allow CATTS to continue to train top level gymnasts as well as offer the best equipment availble to its recreational program.
