  Welcome

Welcome and thank you for visiting the website of CATTS Gymnastics and Dance of Wamego, Kansas.

CATTS Gymnastics and Dance is located just a few miles north of Wamego on Highway 99.  We are so excited about the growing popularity of our sport. We are especially excited about the growth of our program. We have developed an excellent reputation for working with young athletes. Our classes include students from a 50 mile radius of Wamego.

The acronym CATTS stands for Child Athletes Trained To Succeed and represents a philosophy we live by daily. Children are our future and regardless of their level of talent we train children to embrace goals to succeed. Every student trained at our facility strengthens their talents, maintains fitness, and learns agility, grace, power, and poise. Most importantly, they gain self-esteem with each accomplishment through hard work and focus.

The CATTS staff is eager to work with your child and help them train to succeed. CATTS is proud to offer one of the most successful gymnastics programs in the state.  CATTS gymnasts consistently place well in State, Regional and National competitions.  We are also excited to have several collegiate gymnasts who are CATTS alumni.

Our USAG and AAU gymnasts prepare for recreational competition with experienced and supportive teachers. Team members enjoy the many social benefits of team participation while challenging themselves to learn and grow.

Children are organized in groups according to gender, age and ability. Emphasis is placed on the fun of movement as well as the fundamentals that are the basis for success in all sports. Girls utilize the balance beam, uneven bars, vault and floor. All gymnasts use the tumble tracks, in-ground trampolines and deep foam pits. A low student/teacher ratio ensures personal attention and maximizes safety.

CATTS would like to thank the following 2007-2008 sponsors for their generous support of our competitive gymnastics teams:

Gold Level: Coaltrain Insulation/Seamless Guttering; First National Bank; Hair Xpressions, GTM Sportswear, Modern Woodmen of America-Jamie Ebert

Silver Level:  Care Travel; DR Plumbing; Dyer's Shurfine Foods; Master Landscape, Inc; Vision Construction

Bronze Level: Campanella-Evans Mortuary; Head First Salon; Lincoln Street Lanes; Wamego Dental Center; Wamego Super 8 Motel ; Vision Source!
