* July 2015 -  All Stars with our teams doing outstanding.   In 50-70's the combined team from Danville/SRV/TVLL won the CA57 title which gave them the automatic berth into the 50-70's World Series.   In the 10-11's - Canyon Creek went to the championship game of the Nor Cal Division; 50-70's the combined team from Pleasanton advanced to the Regional play in Nogales, Arizona.    Congrats to all teams on a great year.

* july 3 to August 8, 2015- the world returned for the 3rd 50-70's Intermediate World Series in Livermore, CA.  CA57 was the host - it was a huge success with over 40,000 people attending during the weeklong festivities.   Congratulations to Seoul, South Korea from the Asia Pacific region as the champion beating a very strong team from the Southeast Region (Wellington, Florida).

What can you look forward to in 2016? From the Big Al Mgr & Coaches Clinic to scorekeeping clinics to pitching clinics to player agent / league officials clincs to our very popular beginner, intermediate and advanced umpire clinics - we will have a clinic that can meet any or all of your needs. Lastly - our umpires put on one of the best regular and post season rules clinics in the country -- don't miss any of these outstanding clinics.

Other things to keep an eye out for ...and keep an eye on the calendar...there are many fantastic training programs both locally and also provided at the LL Western Region HQ's in San Bernardino.

February 6, 2016 -- All day mgr/coach/adult training clinic at DVHS with Big Al.

May - Memorial Day Weekend - the 12th Annual Western Region Challenger Jamboree hosted by CA57. Last year we had almost 30 teams come in from throughout the western region.....we hope to exceed that this year.

June - July -- well from the CA57 TOC's to the LL Int'l Allstars to CA57's special summer camp/games....we'll have plenty of baseball for everyone.

Little League Intermediate - 50/70's World Series - tentative dates are for teams to arrive (tentative) July 31 with the world series championship game on ESPN Augst 6.   Stay tuned and you can go to our website at for more information.

2016 will be a fun-filled year - Congratulations to all of District 57!!! District 57 is successful because of our outstanding volunteers. If you have the time -- PLEASE -- contact your league and get involved. As we continue to grow - District 57's programs can only continue with the commitment of our membership.

Remember the fun starts at 4 years old with Tee Ball -- and then players progress up to age 12 in the majors program..... BUT the real fun starts with our D57 programs of 50-70's or the many levels of Juniors and Senior/Big League offerings --- these divisions are for ages 13 to 18 - AND - they are a blast!!! Remember - LLB does provide a full softball program - we'd love to have you help us start that back up in 57 ....LL Softball also has world series at all levels.

CA District 57 - The proud home of the following Little League Baseball and Softball Programs. D57 is comprised of leagues and players, ages 4 through 18, from Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, Danville, Tassajara Valley and Alamo. All leagues are located in beautiful, sunny, Northern California

For more information, please contact your district administrator or local league for more information concerning our programs.

I hope that you have a fantastic and enjoyable experience - I look forward to seeing you during the 2015-16 calendar year. Please let us know if we can assist with any matters and/or improve our site.

All my best - Dave Wetmore - CA 57 District Administrator

Intermediate World Series Returns To Livermore

After a very successful inagural year for the Intermediate League program, Little League International has again chosen Livermore, California to be the host site for the 2014 Intermediate Little League World Series (LLWS).

The Intermediate LLWS, which is for players age 11-13, will be hosted at Max Baer Park, home of Granada Little League. The dates are scheduled for July 29 - August 4.

"We are very excited to have the Intermediate LLWS return to Livermore and the CA District 57 area," said CA57 District Administrator Dave Wetmore. "Last year, Granada was a fabulous host, and all of the CA57 leagues, and the entire Tri-Valley community really came together to put on a tremendous event. With the national television coverage on ESPN, it provided great exposure for our district, our sponsors, and the entire Tri-Valley region. We are looking forward to providing an even better time this year."

Last summer, 10 team from around the world decended upon Livermore for the Intermediate LLWS. The final game, which was broadcast worldwide on ESPN, found the Izumisano LL team from Osaka Japan defeating the Collier Township/Chartiers Valley LL team to take the championship.
