Coyotes August Updates
The Butte United Coyotes U10 Boys have had a busy and productive past few weeks. The boys have been putting in good training days and working hard at developing their soccer skills. At the end of July, the Coyotes had a strong showing at the seeding tournament with no loses and no goals scored against them. They will start the regular season in Metro DIII, bracket C.
The weekend of August 8-9, the Coyotes participated in their first club tournament, the 49er Gold Rush in Meadow Vista. With 2 ties and a win they qualified for the Championship game against the Roseville Battle, and a battle it was. Getting off to a rough start by giving up two early goals, the Coyotes battled back to win 4 – 3 and take home the 1st place trophy. It was a fantastic tournament with all the players contributing to a great win.Way to go COYOTES!!!
Looking ahead:
August 29- 30 tournament in Sacramento. Field location and game will be posted when available.
September 20 Ball boys at Chico State v. U San Diego, 2 PM.
Practice remains Monday, Wednesday 5:30 – 7:00 PM. Remember to bring a water bottle and get plenty of sleep now that school is starting.
