2009 Safety Manual

Safety Message:
In 1995, Little League Incorporated introduced ASAP (A Safety Awareness Program) to create awareness, through education and information, to provide a safer environment for kids and all participants of Little League and with the goal of re-emphasizing the primary importance of safety to our local Little League Program. For Butler Township Little League to be ASAP compliant, we must file an approved Safety Plan that meets certain criteria with Williamsport at the start of each season. All teams will receive a copy of the safety manual. Managers and coaches should use this Safety Plan. A copy of the 2009 Safety Plan will be made available to all parents to view at the concessions stand and this entire document will be posted on our web site http://www.eteamz.com/ButlerTwp/ All of us involved in Little League baseball want kids to have fun and learn to be better baseball players; however, safety is priority number one.   An enjoyable baseball game or practice can quickly be shattered if a serious injury occurs.

In partnership - parents, coaches, players and everyone affiliated with Butler Township Little League has a responsibility to ensure safety. Safety is maximized and enhanced when you understand and enforce the safety guidelines Butler Township Little League is instituting.

Thank you for cooperating with Butler Township Little League and making it a safe, fun baseball season for the kids.
