We know that many of you have been receiving information about the AAU Football Program and the Seattle Junior Hawks (or Chargers) that Coach Wallace is heading up so we wanted to clarify some information. While the Burien Bearcats fully support all youth athletics, we want to make it very clear that the AAU Football Organization and the Seattle Junior Hawks are in no way associated with the Burien Bearcat Organization or the NJFL. The AAU League is an entirely separate entity that allows those who choose to participate in spring football to do so in this particular setting. If you have any questions about the Burien Bearcat Organization or the NJFL please see their respective websites for more information.

NJFL divisions are organized by age and weight with five levels of play for ages 7-14. 
This is the most common approach in youth football and has been for decades.


 Other leagues may not have weight restrictions and may offer 


fewer levels of play. Our approach increases participation opportunities


 and safety for all players.
