2009 was a HUGE Success for our League!
We saw a record number of signups and had a record number of teams.
We saw increases at each level including a record 5 Majors teams.
We had one of the biggest increases at the T-Ball and Coach-Pitch Levels. That, along with the great coaches and strong parental support should be great building blocks for the future success of our League.
We would love feedback on how the season went for you and any ideas for improvement.
Even better would be to get involved - Get on the board and let's make 2010 better than ever!

They won the California State Championship and are now 36-0!!
The now head off to the state of Washington!!

(If you are able to help/assist/sponsor them on their trip - ANY help would be appreciated!)
BURBANK LITTLE LEAGUE - SECTION 2 CHAMPIONS !!!
JUNIOR SOFTBALL - SEE ABOVE!!!
BURBANK LITTLE LEAGUE WINS 3 DISTRICT 16 CHAMPIONSHIPS!!
MAJOR SOFTBALL- See Above
JUNIOR SOFTBALL - They won their 2nd consectutive District Championship but were eliminated by 2 close games against Section Champion Quartz Hill - One of them a 9-Inning thriller.
JUNIOR BASEBALL - they won the 2nd District Baseball Championship in the history of Burbank Little League. Many of these players spent many years in the league building toward this great outcome! CONGRATS!
Other All Star Team Recaps
MAJORS BASEBALL (11-12) - They had a great run but came up short.
They won 5 games and beat every team in the tournament.
Unfortunately, they were eliminated by C.V. in an 8-6 loss. That,
combined with the 2nd round extra-inning 5-4 loss to C.V. earlier in the tournament ended their quest for the District 16 Championship.
10/11's - they fought hard but were eliminated on Tuesday
Night by Tujunga on their home field
9/10's -they were eliminated by C.V. on Saturday Night. The young squad
(all of them 1st time All Stars) performed great - picking up their 1st
All Star Victory over a strong Tujunga team. Great Job Boys !!

2008 Burbank Little League Has Outstanding Season!
-
Diamondbacks (major baseball) - Managed by Jonathan Malden and Coached by Mike Lockheimer,
won their division with a 19-2-1 record and went on to win the District 16 Championship Tournament!
-
9-10 Baseball All Stars - Managed by Mike Lockheimer and Coached by Mike Edwards,
won both the District 16 and Section 2 Championships! Our boys played their hearts out
throughout both tournaments and made all of Burbank extremely proud. No other boys
team of any age has ever achieved for Burbank Little League what these boys did. They
were a pleasure to coach and privilege to be involved with. The boys played 12 games
throughout the tournaments ending with a record of 9 and 3 and winning 8 straight at one point.
Simply put, an amazing group of kids. Thanks!

- Girls Softball All Stars - Managed by Albert Hernandez, won both the District 16 and
Section 2 Championships ! They went on to compete in the State Tournament representing Section #2.
