St Helens Championship
Storm Sweep!

Storm Sweep Tournament Matches, Go Out Winners at CCVC Crushers Tourney

After long periods of inconsistentcy in Saturday morning's pool play, the Storm regained their composure and swept each of their tournament matches in the afternoon. Quite a contrast from the last tournament, when the team went 5-1 in pool play, only to lose a heartbreaking match in the first round of tournament play. Although Saturday turned out to be a longer day than might have been anticipated, it's always fun to go out winners. Good job, Storm!!

Parent Meeting Rescheduled to Thursday, Dec. 2

Our Parent Meeting is being rescheduled to Thursday, Dec. 2  from 8-8:30 PM at the Lydia Hawk Elementary School gym. Our first practice will still be on Tuesday, Nov. 30 from 6-8:30 PM at the Lacey Elementary School gym.

First Practice and Parent Meeting - Tuesday, November 30

Our first practice is set for Tuesday, Nov. 30 at the Lacey Elementary School gym. We will also hold our parent meeting from 8:00-8:30 PM at the gym, so please make sure to attend this meeting!

Storm Fall One Point Short of Capturing NW Juniors Baden Classic Championship
The Storm played well in the championship match of the Northwest Juniors Baden Classic Tournament, winning the first game of the three game match. In the second game, the team was down 23-19, but battled back to take a 24-23 lead. They weren't able to hang on, lost the game and the momentum shifted to the opponents. Although they lost game 3 and the match, the team took second place and is now has a record of 34-12 in the last four tournaments. Good job and great effort, girls!!

Storm Capture Second Place in Pro Image Invite
The Storm almost came away with its second straight tournament championship on Sunday. After convincing match victories over Cowlitz Gold, Alpine and Cowlitz Red, the Storm weren't able to come back in the championship match against a scrappy Clark County U16 Athletics team. Nonetheless, a great effort by an ever-improving Storm team!
