Calling All Coaches!
There is no one single action that can have more of a positive impact on our players than improving the quality and knowledge of our managers and coaches. It is a fact that managers and coaches are the ones who spend the most time interacting with our participants and the ones who can make a child’s experience in youth sports fun and memorable. Therefore, it is very important for youth coaches to be properly trained to focus more on the child’s baseball experience and less on winning games.
With this in mind, the Babe Ruth League/Ripken Baseball Coaching Certification Program was developed. Under the program, all baseball coaches must complete coaching education before the season starts. Please select this link to start the online certification course and test.

Our League Goals
1) To teach players to respect the game and the players on both teams. Respect is something that should be had for all umpires, fans, and coaches, as well as the opponent, but most of all respect for yourself!
2) To instill accountability in all players on the team. In life, it is very important to be accountable for your actions!
3) To develop character in our players. Character is the way you carry yourself and the way you are perceived by others!
4) To develop mental toughness in our players. Mental toughness is the ability to fight back under pressure when things aren't in your favor!
5) To instill in our players the inspiration to work towards their future, not just the next game!
