The Broadway Bruins and Montezuma Braves opened the playoffs with a game that could have pleased any baseball aficionado! The Braves rallied to take game one 4-3 Thursday night.

The Bruins closed out the regular season in a must win game versus New Market on Tuesday evening at Broadway with a total team effort. The Bruins used stellar performances from Bret Goodloe, Codie Mitchell, John Ernst, Tyler Hodges and others to defeat New Market in the bottom of the ninth in a 5-4 win!!! 

The post-season is scheduled to continue on Friday at Broadway hosting Montezuma, who leads the best of three series 1-0 at 7:30, .
