Welcome to the homepage of the Brattleboro Heat, 14-U  and 16-U ASA JO Fastpitch softball teams.

The Brattleboro Heat is a non-profit girls softball club with two teams playing out of Brattleboro Vermont. Our teams are members of the Amateur Softball Association, or ASA, and we play in the Junior Olympic Fast Pitch Division. The 16-U team is in it's third year playing and fisrt in the 16's division while the 14-U team played middle school ball last year, will be playing tournaments for the first time this year. We are also two of a few teams playing out of the state of Vermont. We will  play in Tournaments in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Conneticut and Maine. Our season will officially begin the first week of June and run through September. We have started work-outs that will run into the new year. Players are encouraged to participate in off season work-outs. Workouts will focus on pitching,catching and hitting. 

REASON TO BE A HEAT PLAYER

The Heat program provides players the opportunity to learn the game of softball, develop and improve their skills, and play competitive games against girls of equal or higher talent from other parts New England. The players will get to travel, make friends, and most of all HAVE FUN!

PARENTS & PLAYERS RESPONSIBILITIES

As a parent, it is your responsibility to make sure you and your daughter are comitted to the program and their teammates. Practices are mandatory and important to both the player and the team as a whole. Parents need to be positive at all times -- to both your daughter and her teammates. Players, although work outs are not mandatory, all players are expected to workout and condition themselves on their own.
