WOODBURY WILDPITCH TOURNAMENT
WATCH OUT FOR THE SHOCKERS IN 2007 !!!!
On May 12th & 13th the Brainerd Shockers participated in the Woodbury Wildpitch tournament. In pool play the Shockers defeated St. Francis and Manly Iowa teams to secure themselves in the Gold bracket. In bracket play the Shockers defeated the Woodbury Royals in an international tie breaker and also Lakeville to move them to the championship game against Cottage Grove. The game was tied up after 7 innings and went into another international tie breaker for the Shockers which was very close but was lost. It could have been a toss up on who could of won. The Shockers team was able to secure a spot in the Nationals. See ya there!!!!!!!!!!!

FERGUS FALLS TOURNAMENT
The Shockers were off to a great start for 2007. In the first game of the Fergus Falls tournament the Shockers defeated the Fergus Falls Otters 18 to 0. In the second game before play was suspended due to rain, they were up 4 to 0 in the second inning against the Hawley team. The day looked very promising for the Shockers team.
Due to rain the tournament was canceled and not rescheduled.
