We are the Boulder Stars,   a 14 B  team moving to 16U in 2012.

Our team is now full and we will not be having any more tryouts.

We are part of the Boulder Competitive Girls Softball organization (Stars and Comets).          http://www.bouldersoftball.org/

The 2012 Stars will be a first year 16B team with primarily 15 year olds.  We will play 12-13 tournaments including Mountain Magic and the Sparkler and possibly a USSSA or Triple Crown World Series tournament.

Our player fee in is $300 per girl with other necessary funds raised through several fund raisers.   On trips, rooms and meals are paid for by the team.

We practice spring and summer, Tuesday and Friday nights in south Boulder. Winter practices will be on the weekend in the Boulder area.

 In 2010 we played eleven tournaments and also played in the IPGSA Competitive Girls Softball League. We ended the season with 35 wins, 33 losses and 3 ties. We placed 4th in the Metro Classic, 3rd in the Spring Swing, 2nd in the Diamonds in the Rockies and 5th in the Firecracker and 2nd in the IPGSA 14B league tournament.

In the 2009 season we were a 12U team in Boulder Valley Girls Softball Association.     

We played in the Indian Peaks Girls Softball Association league plus several competitive tournaments and Round Robins.

In league play we won our divison with a 12-0 record.      

 ASA 12U State Tournament - Broomfield   2 wins 2 losses   3rd place   

 Our season record was:    35 - 14
