We are the Boulder Stars, a second year 16U team in 2013.
We are part of the Boulder Competitive Girls Softball organization (Stars and Comets). http://www.bouldersoftball.org/
Our 2013 player//travel fee will be $600. The Triple Crown World Series event in Park City will be additional.
We will play 14-15 tournaments including Mountain Magic in Steamboat Springs, the Sparkler and the Triple Crown World Series . We will play one or two tournaments/Friendlies following the high school softball season.
We will practice Tuesday night and Sunday afternoon during the winter in Broomfield. We will practice Tuesday and Friday afternoons in South Boulder during the season.

2012 Season
The 2012 Stars were a first year 16B team with primarily 15 year olds. We played mostly A or Open tournaments including Mountain Magic and Sparkler.
We played 108 games in 2012. Our record was 67 wins, 36 losses and 5 ties.
June 18: Stars take second in Triple Crown State. Winning close games versus Adrenaline 3-1 and Loveland Rage 4-2 got the Stars into the championship game where the Fusion prevailed.
July 1 Stars win Horsetooth Bracket in Sparkler. Taking three close games in a row the Stars won the Horsetooth Bracket in the Sparkler. The Stars defeated the Rapid City Rebels 6-4, edged the Psyclones Silver 6-5 and in the championship game Raina Galbiati's 8th inning single scored Rachel Perley to give the Stars a come from behind 10-9 win over Colorado Crew.
July 15 Stars take second in USSSA State. After winning five games, the last featuring an 8 run rally in the last inning to topple Rage 10-6, the Stars fell to the Rage 5-4 to finish second in the 30 team USSSA state.
July 22 Stars win ASA 16/18 State The Stars edged the Pony Express Mavericks 9 -7 in two extra innings to win the ASA state. Karli Hughes tripled home Rachel Perley and then scored on a sac fly to provide the winning margin.

In 2011, as a 14B team, we played twelve tournaments and also played in the IPGSA Competitive Girls Softball League. We ended the season with 52 wins, 30 losses and 1 tie. We placed 1st in the Firecracker, 2nd in the 7 Game Showdown and the Summer Splash, 3rd in the Foothills Challenge and 1st in the IPGSA 16U league and league tournament.
