The franchise was founded in 1993 by Scott Baldi, Erik Wegelin and TJ Robie.
In our 15th year of existence we play in two local leagues every year. We have played in the Erie, McKean, Harborcreek and Millcreek modified leagues. We have also played in the Erie City Rec. Fastpitch League.
We have won 20 consecutive modified league titles out of a possible twenty-four.
We also have won 70 tournament titles including one NATIONAL in 2001, one NIT in 1995, eight state titles (2000-2006).
We have had ten sponsors: Bonnell's Collision Center (12 years), Marina Inn (4 years), Team Hardinger (4 years),LoCastro Bonini Insurance (2 years), McKean Pizza (1 year), Steel City Sandwich Shop (3 years), DeMarini Sports (3 years), Coach's Bar & Grill (1 year), 84 Lumber (1 year) and Buffalo Wild Wings (1 year).
The greatness of our organization begins with the players who have over the years adopted our philosphy "Committment to Excellence" and "The Will to Win".
Without that committment our team wouldn't be here today.
Without the sponsors who have helped us financially, our success would not be possible. Especially long tome sponsor Scott Bonnell and his wonderful family.
Last but not least without the support from the players wives and family's the greatness of Bonnell's softball would not have been achieved.
I would like to THANK all the players, coaches and sponsors who have supported me in any way over my tenure as General Manager of Bonnell's operations.
The GREATNESS of Bonnell's Softball remains in it's future.
