BOMBERS ANNOUNCE 2016 FALL BALL TRYOUTS

The Bombers Baseball Club will hold open tryouts to identify elite players for travel teams for age groups 8 through 14 years old

• Play with other elite players against top competition

• Receive instruction on all facets of the game from professional coaches

• Practice and learn on the best fields in the North Bay

• Needs-based financial assistance is available

The Bombers Baseball Club offers a fall baseball program which focuses on instruction and player development. Our Fall Ball program is available for players league age 8 through 14.

Player Selection: The Bombers believe that boys should be allowed the opportunity to play other sports during the “off season”. Accordingly, we carry a larger roster size for each team during the fall season to accommodate players’ commitments to other fall sports. The fall teams will be comprised of players from the spring teams as well as interested players who have the potential to compete at a high level in travel baseball. We will have a tournament roster of 12 – 13 for players who are primarily playing baseball in the fall and will attend the tournaments. We will also have 3 – 4 practice players who will practice with the team to maintain their baseball skills, but not attend tournaments unless we need a fill-in player.

Schedule: The 2016 Fall program begins after Labor Day and concludes on the November 5/6 weekend. We will play tournaments on the following weekends:

September 24-25

October 8/9

October 22-23

November 5-6

and practice at least twice a week (once during the week and on Sunday).

Cost: Tournament player - $825, Practice player $325

Your son's age as of April 30, 2017 determines his age group

Spring-Summer 2017 Tryouts: At the end of Fall Ball the Club will hold open tryouts for our Spring-Summer 2017 teams.

Interested players must attend a tryout on Sunday, June 12th. Try-outs will be at Redwood High School Endriss Field and no advance registration is required. There is a $20 try-out fee to offset the cost of evaluators and field rental.
