2009 Seminole AA Bios

Sean Anderson

Sean is just finishing 9th grade at Hillside Jr. High in Boise, Idaho.  He will attend Boise High School starting next fall.  He is 5’10” and weighs 145 pounds.  He has played baseball since he was five.  He has played as a catcher for forever.  Since every game is

different, being a catcher provides a great challenge for him.

 

Tucker Barney

Tucker is 5’11”, 170 pounds.  He is going to be a senior next year at Boise High School in Boise, Idaho, where he maintains over a 3.9 GPA.  He plays outfield but can also play middle infield.  He lives baseball and can’t go very long without it.  He also enjoys water sports in the summer and skiing and snowboarding in the winter.  He is looking to play baseball at a college somewhere in the Northwest in the future.

 

Riley Broderick

Riley is a sophomore at Boise High School with a 3.75 GPA.  He was an all star the 5 years he played in North Little League.  He has been a Seminole for three years.  He is the third of four brothers, and the second brother to play for Boise High School.

 

Micheal Christensen

Michael is a graduating senior from Boise High School.  Mike moved to Boise from Rupert, Idaho where he played varsity baseball at Minico High School.  Mike was a varsity pitcher for Boise High this spring.  Mike is going to attend Lewis-Clark State College where he will study sports administration and education.

 

Casey Coberly

Casey is 6’0”, 205 pounds.  He goes to the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington where he plays both baseball and football.  He’s a defensive end in football and an outfielder/first baseman in baseball.  He came back to play for the Noles this summer so he could keep playing baseball all summer and hang out with his friends on the team.

 

Trey Cochran

Trey is 5’11” and 195 pounds.  He has completed his junior year and plays baseball, hockey and football.  He has been playing baseball for 12 and half years, hockey for 9

years, and started football when he was in the 5th grade.  His favorite sport by far is baseball.  His best baseball moment was winning 5A State in 2008.  He would like to be

a baseball coach and history teacher.

 

Jake Crawford

Jake was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, but grew up in Boise.  He attended Boise High School, where he played baseball for four years, graduating in 2008.  He was a member of the 2008 Boise High Baseball state champion team and was the winning pitcher in the state championship, also being selected all-conference honorable mention in 2008.  He currently attends Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts where he pitches for the

Tufts Jumbos.

 

AJ Davis

AJ is 5”6” and 145 pounds.  He is an outfielder and pitcher.  His favorite baseball moment is going to regionals for little league.

 

Louis Gremp

Louis Gremp just completed his freshman year at North Junior High and he plays center field for the Boise Seminoles.  He maintains good grades with a 3.875 GPA.  He also plays other sports such as basketball, football, and golf.  He was awarded athlete of the year for his school and was awarded MVP for the current JV Boise High School season.

 

Dylan Lange

Dylan Lange is 17 years old.  He was born and raised in Boise, Idaho and currently attends Boise High where he has a cumulative GPA of 3.75.  He has played baseball for Boise High since his freshman year and he also played football his sophomore year.

This past regular season, Dylan was chosen Outstanding Pitcher and was asked to participate in the All-Idaho All Star Showcase for the top juniors in the state as a pitcher.

He loves to play baseball and hopes to have a future in it.

 

Kyle Polito

Kyle Polito just finished his third season as a Boise High Brave and is entering his third season as a Seminole.  Kyle has played first base, outfield, and pitcher.  Kyle is 6’00” and weighs 150.  Kyle throws and bats left-handed.  He will graduate in 2010 and plans to study engineering in college.

 

Sean Schroeder

Sean Schroeder is the second baseman for the Boise Seminoles.  He is 15 years old and is entering his junior year of high school at Boise High.  Sean’s fondest memories of baseball are from being a member of the Idaho State Championship Majors team for Little League and playing in the Western Regional Little League series in San Bernandino, California.  He also had the opportunity to play on a 13 year old outlaw team in the Triple Crown World Series in Steam Boat Springs, Colorado.

 

Gregg Simonds

Gregg Simonds is a 3-year varsity baseball letterman including the 2008 state championship team in which he was a starter.  This is his fourth year of Legion Baseball.

Gregg is a hard-core hunter and basically has two seasons:  Waterfowl Hunting and Baseball.  Gregg has maintained a 3.8 GPA and plans to attend Central Washington University in Ellensburg, majoring in hunting and history.  His words to live by are “Go

Big or Go Home!”

 

Aaron Smith

Aaron Smith, also known as Bear, is 5’11”, 200 pounds.  He has been playing baseball at Boise High since he was a freshman.  When he graduates from high school he wants to go to college to get a business management degree so he can open his own sports bar.
