4 Boca 91's Chosen to USL Super Y League National ODP Select Team
Cocoa, FL- Over the long February 8-11 weekend, the USL Super Y League held it's National ODP camp in Cocoa, FL. After a rigorous schedule of trainings, lectures and games (4 a day), 4 CASA Boca 91 girs were chosen for the Select Team. They are Rachel Mercik (91), Courtney Strombeck (92), Jennifer Ericson (92) and Mallory Creamer (92). Here's a little about the Super Y-League ODP National Camps:
Over the course of the season, the top U.S. players in the USL Super Y-League were selected by the ODP Scouting System to attend the ODP National Camp. During an intense three-day combine at the ODP National Camp, players were evaluated by ODP Staff Coaches and US Soccer National Coaching Staff for U.S. National Team Programs. During this time, players learned the demands to compete at the highest levels of the game. In addition to the primary focus of identifying players to U.S. National Team Programs, many collegiate coaches were scouting players for college soccer programs.
