The Blaze Girls bust out on Fathers Day to take home second place.

After a roller coaster Saturday when the girls were doing everything right, 1 bad play led to two losses, and what might have been a disappointing end, the girls got a rare third chance.

The girls had to play at 10:00 Saturday night, for their 5th game that day, then back to the ballpark at 7:00 the next morning to do the impossible, win 4 games, (almost back to back), to reach the championship game.

Well, that is what they did.

They gave themselves a chance, 1 game at a time, 1 out at a time, 1 hit at a time.

You rarley feel this good about 2nd place, but they earned it.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY...................from all the girls

Blaze takes third Place In Shelbyville

The Bluegrass Blaze took Third place in the hottest tournament ever!!! Well it felt like it anyway.

After Audrey's knee injury, all of the Blaze girls stepped up, and took home the third place trophy.

Hats off to Leigh Ellen, (who filled some big shoes,) and pitched great against some tough teams. Great Job.
