News you should be aware of

 We will be having a SWIM-A-Thon for cans Tuesday Feb. 14.  This event will be officiated and timed to get times for state in events that are not normally run during a dual meet.   We will be sending an envelope with your swimmer Monday (1-29) or Tuesday (1-30) with the events that they will swim.  They are asked to collect canned goods or financial donations for the local food pantry.   The night of the event, the team will present their collection to the food pantry.  This is going to be a HUGE event and we are eager to see everyone attempt to be there.   Coach Haley will be determining the events the swimmers will do as she is monitoring their needs for state. 

State information has arrived and will be distributed with your swimmers by the beginning of next week.

There is a sign-up sheet for volunteers to time and officiate the meet.  We have divided the meet into four parts each day, we will need a total of 2 morning officials, 4 morning timers and 2 afternoon officials and 4 afternoon timers each day.   Please sign this form so we can get this assigned as soon as possible.  If no one volunteers, we will assign times for you.

The job assignments for the 2011-12 Winter Season have now been posted.  Please remember that you are responsible for working your assigned meets.  If you are unable to work your assigned shift please make arrangements with another worker to get it covered and let one of the BPAC members know - otherwise you will forfeit a portion of your $25 worker fee.

The first parent meeting for the 2011-12 Winter Season is scheduled for Wednesday September 7th.  Please try and attend.  This will be a great time to meet the new coach, get your registration done and find out what we have planned for the upcoming season!
