Bloomfield National Little League Presents: Charity Softball Event! BNLL will be hosting a charity softball game to benefit the Bloomfield Special Olympics. Our own BNLL coaches will be playing against the Special Olympics team. When: Saturday June 2, 2012 Rain Date Sunday June 3, 2012 Where: Vassar Field Turf Game: 12:30 (warm-ups @ 12pm) Admission: $3.00 per adult & $2.00 per child $20 donation for BNLL managers/coaches to play. Bloomfield National Little League and Kid2pro Sports have teamed up with Roberto's kids, an organization that collects gently worn and used baseball equipment; the collected equipment is sent to children in both the US and Latin America.
Please help us by donating any gently used or worn pants, shirts, hats, gloves, bats, balls, cleats, turf shoes, bases, and any other equipment.
Yankees Baseball Summer Camps Bloomfield National Little League Families: We are excited to announce a partnership between Bloomfield National Little League & the brand new New York Yankees Baseball Summer Camps that are coming to New Jersey this summer. This partnership will offer league families the opportunity of early registration before the limited number of camp spots are filled, as well as a modest discount on camp tuition. 2012 Yankees Camps (for boys and girls ages 5 – 13) will run for 7 one-week sessions in different locations across New Jersey in July and August. Camp will run in each location for just a single week, including the following sessions within striking distance of Bloomfield: · July 16 – July 20, 2012 in Paramus (Paramus Catholic High School) · July 23 – July 27, 2012 in Parsippany (Parsippany Police Athletic League) · August 6 – August 10, 2012 in Summit (Kent Place School) For our full 2012 Yankees Camp schedule and detailed information about the program, please visit the camp website: www.yankees.com/camps. Attention! Managers, Coaches & Parents: When completing a game, practice or even an individual workout on Vassar 1 Turf Field, please make sure the pitcher's mound is covered back up with the tarp.
