Blackhawk Traveling Basketball

 

2008-2009 Handbook

Basketball season is here and we have an ambitious schedule of events.  The purpose of Blackhawk Traveling Basketball is to offer a competitive basketball experience at an affordable price.  We will be participating in the Great Northwest Basketball League this season.  This league organizes youth tournaments throughout Western Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota.

This season Blackhawk Traveling Basketball will host four tournaments.  Those tournaments are:

December 13th – 8th Grade Girls at B-W High School

February 7th – 6th Grade Girls at Viking Middle School

February 14th – 8th Grade Boys at Viking Middle School

February 28th – 6th Grade Boys at Viking Middle School

The first games will start at 9:00am with the last game scheduled to start at 5:10pm.

We will all need to work together and contribute our time to make these tournaments a success.  Help will be needed at each tournament  to staff concessions, ticketing, gate, timing, scoring, set-up, and clean up. 

 

 

 

The fees for this season will include league entry fees and a warm up tee shirt for each player.  Those fees are as follows:

All Girls Teams (4 tournaments each)                            $50/player

5th Grade Boys (4 tournaments)                                    $50/player

7th & 8th Grade Boys (5 tournaments each)                   $60/player

6th Grade Boys                                                             $90/player                  (3 tournaments, 1 league championship, 1 state invitational tournament)                                        

Payments and medical release forms are to be turned in to the coaches at the start of the season.  No player is eligible for tournament play without the medical release form.  Payments can be made to Blackhawk Traveling Basketball.
