First Day of Practice- Monday July 29-2013 at RT DUNN, located at 1616 S Main behind the Armory. Practice starts at 5:15

Equipment Issue is Friday- July-19-2013 at Miller Park Pavillion 

All returning players, there is a new league rule we can sign up new players Now, we do not have to wait until June anymore. Please as soon as you get your registration forms return them asap..Roster spots are filled when registration and payment is turned in..

Cost: Tackle $55. New players need to send a COPY of the players birth certificate with registration form and payment. ( For some families that cannot pay for registration we will accept certain drinks and food items for the concession stand. Please call for more information or ask at registration.

Open Registration is open to 6 yr olds thru 8th graders for the 2013 season. The Registration form is available now, go to the Handout Section to left of page and open the 2013 Registration Form also read the Information letter it gives important dates for equipment issue.. The Black Knights Youth Football Team is located in Bloomington, IL and has Tackle for ages 8 - 14 , Flag football for ages 6-7, and Cheerleading for ages 6-14. We have 4 levels of tackle football. Bantams 8&9, Juniors 10&11, Jr. Varsity 11&12 up to 7th Grade and Varsity 8th Grade and some 7th Grade. All of our teams play on Saturdays with the first tackle game starting at 1pm and are played local in Bloomington and Normal. We take pride in teaching them sportsmanship and fundamentals of the game, and mentoring the children and preparing our football players to go on and play at the High School level and beyond.

Our Flag program has 6 -7 year olds, all of which play on Saturdays before the tackle teams and their is some traveling for flag. At this level the kids will be taught sportsmanship and basic football fundamentals that help prepare them for the tackle program.

Our Cheerleading program has three levels: one that cheers for bantams and Juniors, one that cheers for our Jr Varsity and Varsity and one that will cheer for all 4 teams. The Cheerleaders are taught cheers, chants, jumps, stunts and tumbling with qualified coaches. During the off season our cheer squad participates in cheer competitions through out the state and a few out of state in the last two years the cheerleaders have brought home, 1 3rd place, 1 2nd place, 4 first place, two National championships, one level championship and one division championship. We have had seven of our cheerleaders make thier Jr High Squads and this year we had 4 make thier High School squads, one making Freshan squad and captian, one making thier JV squad as a Freshman, and Two Make Varisty one as a Freshnam and one who has made it as a Freshman and Sophmore.

In 2012 we had about 125 tackle players, 30 Flag and 30 Cheerleaders, we are a 10 year old team and are getting bigger every season!!!
