Welcome to The Official Site of Your 2007 Buffalo Grove Bills

Please check the website often as I will post all schedules (pre-school practice, post-school practice, pre-season games, and regular season games).  I will also try to stay current with all key offensive, defensive, and special teams statistics as well as posting articles, including games summaries.  I encourage parents that take digital photos to send them to me so that I can post them on the site.  We are looking forward to a great fun-filled experience for our players!

Bills Play With Heart; Drop A Close Game To The Broncos -- Broncos 19, Bills 7

The Bills won the coin toss and elected to receive.  On the opening kick, Barrington recovered the ball without a Bills player touching the ball.  The Broncos took over first and ten.  The Bills defense stepped up and stopped the Broncos on a fourth and one.  The Bills offense went four and out and punted the football.  The Bills defense held up once again but the Bills encroached and gave the Broncos a first down instead of a fourth and long.  Santini stepped up and forced a fumble, which he also recovered.  The Bills second possession was much more productive.  Saper took the ball from the twelve yard line, broke some tackles, and ran the ball for an 88-yard rushing TD; the longest Bills play from the line of scrimmage.  Saper is the second Bills player to rush for over 100+ yards in a single game.  Palminteri scored the extra point and the Bills led by a score of Bills 7, Broncos 0.  The Broncos were in a 4 and 1/2 yard situation when it looked like the Bills had them stopped only to have the referees grant a generous spot to give the Broncos a first down. The Broncos ultimately punched it in from the 5 yard line for a score.  The Broncos attempted to kick the PAT but Palminteri busted through and blocked the kick.  The score was Bills 7, Broncos 6.  The Bills then went four and out.  The Broncos had a fourth and short but the Bills held them and took over on downs.  Sienko then threw an interception, his first of the season.  The Bills answered big defensively, stopping the Broncos from the 4 yard line with Palminteri making three tackles to hold the Broncos and take a 7-6 lead into the locker room.  The Broncos scored on their first drive after taking it from ten yards out for the score.  They converted the PAT and the score was Broncos 13, Bills 7.  The Bills went four and out on their next possession and then fumbled on the following possession, giving the Broncos the ball on the two yard line.  The Broncos scored another TD and the score was Broncos 19, Bills 7.  That's ultimately how the score ended up, putting an end to a very nice season for the Bills.  Saper had the only score, done in style.  Palminteri had a huge game defensively with 10 tackles and 6 assists.  Some of the key highlights from this morning's game were as follows:

Bills Prepare For Broncos - Look To Avenge Loss in Close, Regular-Season Game

The Bills have had a good week of practice as they ready themselves for the showdown with the Broncos on Saturday.  The Broncos are coming off of a loss in a close game where they dropped one to Huntley by a score of 14-12.  The Bills closed out the season on a high note after they reeled off four wins in a row to end the regular season.  They had two substantial winning streaks; one of three in a row and one of four in a row and who do you think ruined what could have been an 8-game winning streak - Barrington.  The Bills will try to avenge the regular season loss with a postseason victory.  The rundown on the two teams is:

The point differentials are as follows: Bills +100, Broncos +106.    It should be a very exciting match up.  It should be a crisp November morning in Barrington as the Bills look to rev it up against the Broncos.  Can the Bills answer the call?
