Big Sky Little League: Welcome

BSLL TYLOGO
2009 Season

Big Sky Little League has been a part of Billings for over 50 years.  Our boundaries stretch from North Park to Gregory Hills and we maintain the fields at Rose Park, Veteran's Park and Urbaska.  Our league focuses on developing character, courage and loyalty in area youth through wholesome recreational activity and teamwork.  We offer both baseball and softball divisions and typically have about 30 teams each season.

Check out our links page to access the District Softball and Baseball websites

for rules, schedules, standings and field locations.

Dear Little League Volunteer,

This message is to let you know of additional changes to the Official Regulations and Playing Rules in the baseball divisions of Little League.

These changes, enacted on Friday by the Little League International Board of Directors, will bring the Regular Season and Tournament Pitching Rules into alignment. As we have heard over the years, this has been a desire of many involved in Little League.

Public notice of these changes will be made later this week. However, we wanted you to know about the changes before they are released to the media.

The text of these changes can be found at the following addresses, in PDF format:

Little League Night with the Scarlets and Royals

Looking for something to do this Memorial Day weekend??

On Sunday, May 24th at 5:00 PM at Dehler Park the American legion is teaming up with Little League Baseball for their annual Little League Night with the Scarlets and Royals.  All Little Leaguers, both boys and girls, are asked to put on thier uniforms or their hat and they will be admitted free of charge.  Parents and other siblings will be admitted free also, but you will asked to donate a couple of bucks to help with the expenses of running the Legion program.

The Legion is asking all LL'ers to come to the park a 4:00 pm to partake in pre-game fun.  The Legion will be handing out trading cards and the Legion players will be available for autographs.  The kids can mix with players from their favorite team, talk to the players and get the feel of what it is like to be a Legion player.  Prizes will be given away during the game.
