Point System Break Down

This is the point system that will be used to determine the Sand and Grass series winners for the 2013 outdoor season:

 All players must have a VolleyAmerica number to participate in the the VolleyAmerica Sand and Grass series and receive pts and end of the season Grand Prix prize money.

 Players earn points every time the participate in an event

  • 1st place =40pts
  • 2nd place=25pts
  • 3rd place=15pts
  • 5th place=10pts
  • 7th place=8pts
  • 9th place=5pts
  • All others=1 pts

All Divisions receive bonus pts based on the number of teams in each division: 

  • 1st place receives bonus points equal to the number of teams in the division.
  • 2nd place receives the same amount of bonus pts -2
  • 3rd place receives the same amount of bonus pts -3
  • and so forth until you get to 0

Congratulations to all the players in the 2012 outdoor season that ranked in Volleyamericas Grand Grass Prix top 15

Thanks to Hooters and the sponsorship of Bud Light Lime we were able to send Brittney Ray, Mike Nelson, Amanda Horenkamp and Tim Haeffner on an all paid trip to Miami Fl to compete in Bud Light Limes Coed 4's tournament.

Brad Stephens and Phil Sims received a free trip to Clear Water Fl to participate in the Volley America Nationals by winning the Big Dog Volleyball Sand series.

 Kaitlin Green received $200 by winning the Women's Big Dog Volleyball Sand series. 

 Lee Forrest received $175 based on his standing in Volleyamericas Grass Grand Prix

Darrel Ledbetter and Joey Whitehead each received $100 based on their standings in Volleyamericas Grass Grand Prix. 

 Omar Sayyad received $50 based on his standing in Volleyamericas Grass Grand Prix. 

Andre Calar received $50 based on his standing in Volleyamericas Grass Grand Prix

Javier Reyes received $25 based on his standing in Volleyamericas Grass Grand Prix
