Major and Minor League Players Must Register in September 2009
Major and Minor League Players Must Register Prior to Tryouts
Players who are already on a Majors team will not have to tryout, but must register for the 2010 season by the beginning of Major League tryouts in September 2009. Failure to register prior to tryouts and the player draft will exclude your child from being on the team he/she was on in 2009.
Players eligible to play in either the Major Leagues or Minor Leagues must register prior to tryouts in September 2009.
All teams in the Majors and Minors divisions will be chosen after the tryouts in September.

T-Ball and Farm Leagues Registration Information
T-Ball & Farm age players (5, 6, 7 & 8 years old as of April 30, 2010) will not tryout, but are encouraged to register in September 2009.
In addition, these players are encouraged to take part in the Winter Clinics held by Beverly Little League at the Beverly High School Field House in 2010 beginning in early January 2010.
The clinics focus on skills development for these age groups as well as an opportunity for prospective coaches to apply the skills they learn at the annual coaching clinics sponsored by Beverly Little League. Check the website for updated information in December.

Registration forms have been sent out. If you did not receive one please call the Beverly Little League office ASAP at 978-922-4595. There are 3 options for payment.

Please note that no child will be placed on a team until payment is made or contact is made with Greg Deschenes at 978-815-6385.

2010 Little League Try-outs
Beverly Little League will be conducting tryouts for the 2010 season for all registered and eligible players who are at least nine (9) years of age as of next April 30, 2010. Failure to tryout will result in the child being ineligible to play at the Major’s level in 2010.
Players who will be 9, 10, 11 or 12 years old by April 30, 2010 and are NOT on a Beverly Little League Major’s team are required to register prior to Major League Tryouts and must complete 1 tryout. Failure to tryout will result in the child being ineligible to play at the Major’s level in 2010.

Returning players registration forms indicate the age of your child (as of April 30, 2010) and their division (East or West). All tryouts will be held at Harry Ball Fields.

Try-outs are not needed.
9 Year Old Players
East League - 6:00 to 7:15 - Friday, September 18
West League - 7:15 to 8:30 - Friday, September 18
10 to 12 Year Old Players
West League - 4:30 to 6:00 - Saturday, September 19
East League - 6:00 to 7:30 - Saturday, September 19
10 to 12 Year Old Players
East League - 4:30 to 6:00 - Sunday, September 20
West League - 6:00 to 7:30 - Sunday, September 20

FAQs
Q: Which try-out session should my child attend?
A: Beverly Little Leagues encourages players to attend both tryout sessions so that more evaluation data can be compiled on the player. To be considered for a Major League team, a player must participate in at least one full tryout session to be eligible for the Major Leagues the following year.
Q: Which league do we belong to - East or West?
A: East League is comprised of players from Wards 4 & 6. West League is comprised of players from Wards 1, 2, 3 & 5.
