BERT BELL MEMORIAL FOOTBALL CONFERENCE, INCORPORATED
ESTABLISHED IN 1962
The Bert Bell Memorial Football Conference provides football and cheerleading for the Suburban Philadelphia Area, including Montgomery, Chester, Bucks, and Delaware Counties as well as New Castle County, Delaware. The Conference is founded to further the ideals of the game of football at the school level. Its general purpose is to strive to equip boys and girls with the mechanical skills, physical condition and mental attitude necessary for the pursuance of the game at the high school and college level. Also, to teach through supervision and by example the principles of sportsmanship and fair play, without undue emphasis on winning or losing. This program shall be implemented in such a way as to make no sacrifice to scholastic achievement. Contrarily, it shall be the purpose to teach participants that eligibility for athletic activity is based on satisfactory performance in the classroom.

Tackle Football Players and Cheerleaders:
All new players and players with IDs older than 4 years need to be photographed. All players must provide "original" birth certificate, no copies. If you do not have your birth certificate, we will still take the photo; however, the ID will not be releases until the certificate is provided. Players will not be allowed to participate in the games without proper photo ID.
Also, ALL new coaches (football and cheer) and coaches with IDs older than 3 years will be getting their IDs the same night. Coaches must provide proof of their "criminal" and "child abuse" clearances to receive their ID. If you do not have your clearances, we will still take the photo; however, the ID will not be releases until proof is provided. No coach will be allowed on the sidelines during games without proper photo ID.
Anyone missing their designated picture day may attend another day at another location.

2008 Youth League Award
The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Inc., Philadelphia Chapter, honored the Bert Bell Memorial Football Conference Commissioner, Mrs. Judy Hahn, with their 2008 Youth League Award. Mrs. Hahn was chosen in recognition of her contributions as a Youth League Commissioner.
The award was presented at their annual banquet, held Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Villanova University.
On behalf of the entire Bert Bell Memorial Football Conference, we would like to congratulate Mrs. Hahn on this prestigious award.

Attention NEW Football and Cheerleading Coaches!!!
If you plan on coaching or being an assistant coach for any of our Bert Bell Member Clubs, you will need BOTH a PA ACT 34 (Criminal History) and PA Child Abuse History Clearance. You must have PA Act 34 completed before Child Abuse Clearance. This takes about 3 weeks.
Delaware teams only need a criminal history record check.
Once all Background checks are complete, coaches must get a Photo Identification card which must be worn at all games.
Coaches will not be permitted on the sidelines until ALL Background checks are complete and the League has issued your Photo ID.
DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!!! ...... Start the process NOW.
