New for 2009 - Play Up Rules

Players ages 9-15 can try out to play in an age division a maximum of one level above their league age by following these guidelines:

Player must try out in both his/her own age group and the next older division.  The player must be drafted in the higher division to be eligible to play there and will not be placed into the ‘hat draws’ for the higher division.  If they are not drafted into the higher division they will be drafted and play in their age group.  Players will only be eligible for All Star selection in the league they play in. (example a 10 yr old that trysout for and is drafted into the 11/12 yr old league is not eligible for the 10 yr old all stars but is eligible for 11 or 12 yr olds if selected)  Players will not be able to play in a lower division unless specifically approved by the executive board.
