Spring Ball                                                                                         

Spring Teams (ages 4 thru 7’s) are completed, team coaches will have their player rosters by this Friday 3/20/15, and will communicate their team information to the parents

 

Practices will begin the week of 3/30/15, after Spring Break

Registration age is the age of the player on April 30, 2015. 
 
Registration fees are:
4-7s:
$65 $75
8-10s: $85 $95
11-16s: $95 $105

4-7s: 1/5/15 - 3/13/15
 
As of 3/19: 
4s:  15 spots left
5s:  Full, accepting waiting list
6s:  8 spots left
7s:  12 spots left 
 
8-16s: 1/5/15 - 2/13/15 * Late Registrations being accepted:

Please keep in mind we are limited to the number of teams/players we can facilitate with the fields available. Once we reach that number, a waiting list will begin. 

Birth certificate verification dates will be announced soon. 

The season for 8-16s runs early March - mid-June.

For 4-7s, the season is early April - mid-June.

Bat Rules

If you are going to buy a new bat this year for use in Babe Ruth or Cal Ripken baseball, be sure to review the requirements and take special note of bats that do not comply with performance restrictions and have been banned.

Baseball Field Reservation Information

Bentonville Youth Baseball (BYB) handles the scheduling of baseball fields in Bentonville for March thru July. During this time the fields are primarily for the use of the teams playing in the Bentonville Youth Baseball Spring League or for the City of Bentonville hosted events, such as USSSA Baseball Tournaments.

 

Baseball Field Reservation Request: Field Requests will only be considered for the upcoming week (starting on Mondays and ending on Sunday) and request must submitted by the preceding Friday. As an example for the week starting Monday (March 2nd) thru Sunday (March 8th) – request must be submitted by the preceding Friday (February 27th).

 

The link for submitting the request is Open for the next week from Monday thru Friday. Field requests will be honored in the order they are received. Fields will be scheduled in 2 hour increments. Field requests will require a 48 hour minimum turn around on request during the current week. Field availability is subject to change without notice.

 

Field requests requiring lights will require a $25 fee payable to the City of Bentonville

Only Bentonville City Maintenance Personnel are allowed to work on and or prep fields.

No raking on laying down of any material on any City field is allowed.

 


Field Status:

Please note to keep up to date on the Status of the Field on the day that in which you have reserved, in order to make sure that it is still available for play. Please note that when the city closes the fields, ALL teams (BYB and travel) must stay off the fields to prevent damaging the fields.

For the most up to date field status please visit the City of Bentonville Parks and Recreation website. Scroll to the bottom of the page for the current status of the each of the fields. The City will determine whether or not the baseball fields are playable. You can sign up for automatic email and text message updates on the field status on the City's website.
