Baseball Field Reservation Information

Bentonville Youth Baseball (BYB) handles the scheduling of baseball fields in Bentonville from March 1 to July 10th. During this time the fields are primarily for the use of the teams playing in the Bentonville Youth Baseball League or for the City of Bentonville hosted events, such as USSSA Baseball Tournaments.

Request a Field Reservation: Field Requests will only be considered for the current week (starting on Mondays). Please see link above for the field usage report. Field requests will be honored in the order they are received. Field availability is subject to change without notice. Field requests requiring lights at Phillips Park on Saturdays, Sundays, or when there are NO BYB League activities on other fields are NOT available.

New Bat Rules for 2012: Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken

Bentonville Youth Baseball will continue to follow the baseball bat rules as prescribed by the Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken organizations. The 2012 rules can be viewed here. Our league will enforce these Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken bat rules and will not allow any baseball bats that violate these rules to be used in our league. Babe Ruth rules apply to ages 13 and older. Cal Ripken rules apply to ages 12 and under.

For the most up to date field status please visit the City of Bentonville Parks and Recreation website. Scroll to the bottom of the page for the current status of the each of the fields. The City will determine whether or not the baseball fields are playable. You can sign up for automatic email and text message updates on the field status on the City's website. Our goal is to provide for every boy and girl from age 4 to age 18 within the Bentonville School District the chance to learn and enjoy the sport of Baseball.
