 2015 Fall Baseball Information

Fall Ball registration is open for the Fall 2015 season. The Fall Season is based upon player ages for the upcoming 2016 Spring Season. We have expanded our Fall 2016 season to include ages 6 & 7. Teams will be limited to the number of volunteer coaches we have, and registration will close when that limit is reached. If you would like to coach your child's team, please note it when registering your child. 

Bat Rules

If you are going to buy a new bat this year for use in Babe Ruth or Cal Ripken baseball, be sure to review the requirements and take special note of bats that do not comply with performance restrictions and have been banned.


Baseball Field Reservation Information

Bentonville Youth Baseball (BYB) handles the scheduling of baseball fields in Bentonville for September 7th thru November 8th. During this time the fields are primarily for the use of the teams playing in the Bentonville Youth Baseball Fall League or for the City of Bentonville hosted events, such as USSSA Baseball and Softball Tournaments. Fields available for reservation are Memorial and Phillips Park.  Please keep the field request age appropriate for your team’s age, as it will a consideration for scheduling.  The fields at Merchants Park where there are no available lights are generally for league games and or practices with no reservations accepted.  

Baseball Field Reservation Request: Field Requests will only be considered for the upcoming week (starting on Mondays and ending on Sunday) and request must submitted by the preceding Friday. As an example for the week starting Monday (September 7th) thru Sunday (September 13th) – request must be submitted by the preceding Friday (September 4th).

The link for submitting the request is Open for the next week from Monday thru Friday. Field requests will be honored in the order they are received. Fields will be scheduled in 2 hour increments. Field requests will require a 48 hour minimum turn around on request during the current week. Field availability is subject to change without notice.

Field requests requiring lights will require a $25 fee payable to the City of Bentonville

All City Park field times that require lights will require a $25 fee paid to the city.

Only Bentonville City Maintenance Personnel are allowed to work on and or prep fields.

No raking on laying down of any material on any City field is allowed. 


Field Status:

Please note to keep up to date on the Status of the Field on the day that in which you have reserved, in order to make sure that it is still available for play. Please note that when the city closes the fields, ALL teams (BYB and travel) must stay off the fields to prevent damaging the fields.

For the most up to date field status please visit the City of Bentonville Parks and Recreation website. Scroll to the bottom of the page for the current status of the each of the fields. The City will determine whether or not the baseball fields are playable. You can sign up for automatic email and text message updates on the field status on the City's website.
