Benet WIns Over Lane Tech, Moves to State Semi-Finals Match-up
Dan Hodgman scored a goal one minute into overtime to lead Benet to a 6 to 5 overtime victory over Lane Tech at Hanson Stadium in Chicago. With the win, Benet advances to the Lacrosse Cup semi- finals on May 31st. Game day and time tba.
Nick Severyn scored 3 goals and Jason Krogulski had 2 goals. Bobby Calzaretta had 2 assists. Hodgman and Severyn added one assist each.
Goalie Kevin Murphy had 2 saves.
Benet faces Fenwick on Thursday, May 31 at 5:30 at Priory Field in River Forest.

Redwings Move to Quarterfinals in State Playoffs
After a 8-2 win over Glenbard West, Benet will face Lane Tech in a quarter final match up on Tuesday. Game time is 6:00 at Hanson Stadium in Chicago.

Congratulations Illinois State Scholars
Benet has a proud tradition of both academics and athletics, and we are very happy to announce that three members of the Redwing Lacrosse Club have recently been named as Illinois State Scholars.
The State Scholar Program recognizes Illinois high school students for outstanding academic achievement. . Only the top ten percent of Illinois high school graduates are announced as State Scholars each year. We are very proud to recognize the three student athletes that have achieved this great honor:
