The Bayside Blues recently renamed its scholarship program in honor of a former player. Kelly Bradford was part of the core group that helped establish the fact that girls from southern Maryland could compete on the field with girls from Baltimore and Northern Virginia. That group helped start the long tradition of quality Blues softball.
As a tribute to Kelly, in recognition of her pioneering efforts in softball and her courage in life, the Bayside Blues named our scholarship program in her honor: The Kelly Bradford Memorial Scholarship.
