Baylor Baseball 2008 Summer Day Camps
Day Camps
Session 1: June 23rd - June 26th - 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
Session 2: June 30th - July 3rd - 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
Ages 7 through 12
PURPOSE: Designed for players ages 7 through 12. Camp will focus on basic fundamentals of hitting, throwing and fielding. Games will be played daily to emphasize team defense and base running. Campers will be grouped by age and/or skill level. The cost is $175.
WHERE: All sessions will be conducted at Baylor Ballpark.

INSTRUCTIONAL STAFF: The Baylor Baseball coaching staff will be assisted by former Baylor players who are currently active in professional baseball.

Baylor Baseball 2008 Summer Total Skills Overnight Camp
Total Skills Overnight Camp
July 6th - July 9th
Ages 9 through 2008 Grads
PURPOSE: Designed for players ages 9 through 2008 High School Grads. Campers will be divided into leagues with players placed according to age and/or skill level. This camp features comprehensive instruction in all phases of the game as well as instruction at individual positions. The cost is $470 for overnight campers and $420 for those who chose to commute to camp.

ADDITIONAL CAMP INFORMATION
REGISTRATION/CONFIRMATION: All campers should pre-register. In order to participate all medical and consent forms must be signed by parent/guardian.
COSTS: Camp tuition includes housing, all meals and a camp t-shirt. Payment must accompany the application form. Late registrations will incur a $25 late fee.* A $25 processing fee is charged for cancellations prior to the start of camp.

INSURANCE/MEDICAL CARE: Secondary insurance coverage is provided by the camp and included in the camp tuition fee. A Baylor athletic trainer will reside in the dorm and be available during all sessions. Hospital and student health facilities are also readily accessible. Every conceivable effort is made to protect each camper’s health and safety through training of staff, constant inspections of equipment and instruction of campers.
CONDUCT: All serious violations, such as willful damage to university property or other behavior detrimental to the group, will result in immediate dismissal.
LOST KEYS: Each camper will be issued a room key. Lost or unreturned keys will incur a $10 charge per key.
ACCOMMODATIONS: All overnight campers will be housed two to a room in an air-conditioned dormitory on campus. Campers will have coaches living on the halls with them and will be under strict supervision. Bring necessary pillows and bed linens, towels and wash cloths.
EQUIPMENT/CLOTHING: (Please mark all equipment.) Bat, glove, hat, practice shoes, baseball shoes, tennis shoes, practice shirts, athletic socks and supporters, toiletry items, and casual clothing for wear in and around the dorm. Catchers are encouraged to bring gear.
