CONGRATS TO THE BAY STATE GATORS, 2009 Super Regional Champs!!!! Gators go 4-1 to win it all
After the a slow start, the Gators stepped up to the challenge!
After dropping the 1st game of the tournament, the girls went on a run like no other. They went on to beat the Lowell Lady Panters to finish Saturdays game with a record of 1-1.
Sunday they took on the defending Super Regional Champs in a rematch of last years Super Regional Final. The Gators controlled the game from the out set in a tightly contested match up.
Finally the Gators played the Saratoga Sparks, in the first of two games to be played against each other in a mtter of hours.
The first game was an exciting one, but the thriller came in the championship round, with the Gators winning in over time by 3 points.
Tuesday, April 7
Gators return from CT 3-1
The Gators returned home from CT with a 3-1 record, only loosing to the D2 National Champs.
All three victories were hard fought including a 1 point win in O.T. The 3 wins included victories over the R.I Cyclones, Westcon Phillies, and the CT Bandits.
The team showed very well and we are looking forward to this weekends games.
