  RULES / ENTRY FORM  
 

{Baton Rouge Bassmasters Rules} (1.) These rules apply to all entrants of this tournament. Violation of any of these rules will warrant appropriate disciplinary action by Tournament Director. (2.) State, Federal, and Local Laws must be obeyed. (3.) Entry Fee is {$80} - Big Bass Option is {$10}, {$15} Membership Fee. Classic fee is {$160}.Big Bass Option for Classic {$20} (4.) All fishing must be done with artificial lures only. Pork is permitted. (5.) Teams may keep no more than 5 bass in the live well. (6.) Scoring will be determined by the total weight of not more than 5 bass per Team meeting designated size requirement. Fish will be measured on a Pro-Rule measuring board with the tail closed. Ties for cash prizes will be settled by combining two cash awards and splitting the total between tied anglers and points will be awarded equally. (7.) No more than two persons per boat. All persons in a boat must be a registered contestant (8.) All fishing must be form a previously inspected boat. (9.) Tournament Hours and Check Points will be given at registration and are the responsibility of each entrant. Weigh-In will be after 2:30 p.m. Check-in (10.) Penalties: There will be a 1/2 (.5) pound penalty deducted for each fish weighed-in. There will be a five (5) pound penalty deducted for any fish not meeting the predetermined size requirement brought to the scales, plus, a loss of same fish. Contestants catch will not be counted, if not checked-in by the designated check-in time. (11.) Yearly Points Standings for Team Of The Year will be determined by a points system of how many teams enter, and there will be a 10 point difference from each place. Ex.: [10] team field, 100 points for 1st, 90 for 2nd, and so on. [15]team field 150 for 1st, and 140 for 2nd, etc. Every team will earn points with the last place team earning 10 points. (12.) Tournament Hours are Safe daylight to 2:30 p.m. with the weigh-in after. Teams should be at the landing at least 1 hour to 40 mins. before 6:00 a.m. to allow boat launch time and registration check. (13.) Tournament lakes don't become off limits until June. Once it is June the practice days are 2 days before each tournament. • POINT CHAMPIONS FOR THE YEAR FISH FOR FREE NEXT YEAR * * • CLASSIC CHAMPIONS WILL FISH THE CLASSIC FOR FREE NEXT YEAR * **(Upon entering the fishing tournaments, contestants release BATON ROUGE BASSMASTERS Officials and Sponsors from liability of damages, losses or thefts.)**
