Former and Current Baseliners Meet with Jennie

Jennie Finch Comes to DST! 

USA Olympic Softball Team pitcher Jennie Finch payed a visit to Diamond Sport Training (DST) on November 2nd.  In a pitching demonstration held for several softball athletes, Jennie showed proper technique for her rise ball, screw ball, change up (which was particularly nasty!) and others.  Afterward, she took questions from the group, signed pictures and softballs and posed for pictures.  To read more about Jennie, go to www.jenniefinch.net.

I was able to squeeze in a pitching demonstration and Q&A for about 25 girls a couple minutes from the signing. A sweet softball family owns it, it was a great indoor facility! I had a good time hanging out talking pitching and softball. It was a fun short but long trip!
