Resch Center/Brown County Arena Rules and Regulations 2004-05

PMI has instituted a set of guidelines that we expect all players, coaches, parents and guests of the Jr. Gamblers to be aware of and follow. These have been put in place for the safety of the players and the security of the facility. We ask that these rules be shared with all personnel and that you assist us in adhering to them. With operating costs and insurance liability we must stress to you that these guidelines be followed.

·Everyone must enter and exit through Security door #2 located in the back of the Resch Center. The door will be unlocked 1 hour prior to games and practices. Everyone must exit the building no later than a half-hour after practice, NO EXCEPTIONS. – Any team not following this rule will be given one verbal warning. Additional violations will result in the team being charged a $300 early/late fee. We will do our best to identify the offending team but if we are unsuccessful the charge will go to the Jr. Gamblers organization. We must ask that this be enforced as we have limited staff to secure the facility during your practice schedule.

·Seating for parents and guests will be in the lower sections of 210, 211, and 212 only. This will be strictly enforced.

·We ask that adults, parents monitor the behavior of the crowd and take necessary steps to control any unruly behavior. We will always have an event supervisor assigned to work while you are in the facility.

·Players are to stay in the designated dressing room area only. The facility is not open for anyone to walk around in. All persons affiliated with the organization must understand this. Locker rooms #3 & #4 will be used for the hockey players. Dressing rooms # 3 & #4 have restrooms for spectators use if necessary. We do not want anyone roaming the 2nd or 3rd floor hallways. Please keep the dressing rooms clean. Please pick up all garbage and clean the showers.

·No horseplay, such as shooting pucks, balls, or tape or the damaging of property or other negligent acts will be tolerated in the building.

·For the safety of all NO COACHES OR PLAYERS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE ICE UNTIL THE ZAMBONI GATES ARE CLOSED. The ice must be clear of all people and objects, with the exception of the people moving nets, before the Zamboni will go out on the ice. If any one or any thing is on the ice when the Zamboni is resurfacing the ice the Zamboni will immediately leave the ice until it is cleared. This will reduce your ice time for that evening. The first offence will produce a verbal warning to the team coach. Additional violations will result in a $500 penalty assessed to the Jr. Gamblers organization.

·Parking behind the facilities will be limited due to building construction from September 13th to mid-January. Please use the Lambeau Field parking for all practices and games during this period. During some events held at the complex there may be No Parking Available and you will be required to find alternate parking. You will be notified ahead of time.

·When using ice in the Brown County Arena the back door will be open one hour before and remain open for one-half hour after the last scheduled game or practice.

·No alterations are allowed in the locker rooms, as this is a multiple use facility.

·If watching practice at the BCA you should sit in sections 12, 14, 16, and 18 only.

·In the near future all players and coaches will be given a laminated pass for entry into the facility. These must be visible upon request by a PMI staff member and be available each time a player or coach enters the facility. Players may attach the tag directly to their hockey bags.

Good luck to you this season!
