13U GIRLS - ALABAMA 2006 YBOA STATE CHAMPIONS
The Bama's Best 13U girls had a great weekend of basketball in the YBOA State Tournament in the Birmingham Area finishing 1st place in the State. Bama's Best defeated the Montgomery Flames on Friday in the first game, then defeated Triple Threat of Trussville Saturday morning in game two. Bama's Best came back Saturday afternoon ready to play game three and was able to defeat Pelham Pride, due to the great effort of all 10 girls which put them in the championship game on Sunday morning. Sundays game was a close with the Lady Panthers, but the Bama's Best 13U girls played tough and was able to pull off a 58 to 56 victory in over time which won them 1st place in the Alabama State YBOA Tournament.
