If a team is full, the player will be placed on a wait list and notified if/when a spot on the team opens up.

Equipment/Volunteer Fee:

A $50.00 Equipment will be required at the beginning of the season in addition to your registration.

For 2009 New and Returning Members the Registration Fees are as Follows:

*Note: Any equipment not able to be repaired by BJF Staff or that is unusable will be charged to player at full replacement cost.

Here are our five levels of play and the age and weight information:

89ers: 7 yrs - no weight limit, 8 yrs - no weight limit, 9 yrs - 94 lbs max

Midgets: 9 yrs - no weight limit, 10 yrs - 108 lbs max, 11 yrs - 90 lbs max, 12 yrs - 78 lbs max

PeeWees:10 yrs - no weight limit, 11yrs - 123 lbs max, 12 yrs - 103 lbs max, 13 yrs 90 lbs max

Bantams: 11 yrs - no weight limit, 12 yrs - 139 lbs max, 13 yrs - 116 lbs max, 14 yrs - 99 lbs max

Juniors: 12 yrs - no weight limit, 13 yrs - no weight limit, 14 yrs - 167 lbs max

BJF Families,
So you are all aware, BJF is under pressure from the Parks Department and if we’re not careful we could loose our concessions altogether.

It is very important that we adhere to all of the field rules listed below. Representatives from the Parks Department will be on hand during Saturday’s games, please do your part to make sure they only have good things to report back to the powers that be.

Always use trash receptacles.

Only eat in designated areas and not on the field.

Respect the field – no eating or drinking on the playing field.

Only water in clear containers will be allowed on the field. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Field attendants will be around to enforce the field rules. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Heads Up: Concussion in Youth Sports

A concussion is a brain injury caused by a bump or blow to the head that can change the way your brain normally works. Even what seems to be a mild bump or blow to the head can be serious.
