Welcome to the Ballard Junior Football website.
Since 1962 Ballard Junior Football has provided the children of the greater Seattle area, between the ages of 7 through 14, a fun, safe and competitive football and cheerleading program. Ballard Junior football is only able to offer this opportunity through dedicated volunteers giving their time, and through community support. This is your site for information regarding Ballard Junior Football and all schedules, events and activities. Please check back often for updates.

In the mail: Registration Packets should be arriving this week. You can fill them out and send them in, or navigate to the Registration page to sign-up online!
Don't forgret to sign-up to be ensured a spot on this year's roster.
Volunteers Wanted: Cheer Coaches Needed, if you or someone you know would be interested in leading our cheer teams, please contact us. Without volunteers this organization doesn't work, please consider coming to our Monthly meetings to find out how you can help, 1st Thursday at 7:30 at the Philadelphia Church annex.

Teams are organized by age and weight with five levels of play for ages 7-14. This is the most common approach in junior football and has been so for decades. Other leagues may not have weight restrictions and may offer fewer levels of play. Our approach increases participation opportunities and safety for all players.
Here are our five levels of play and the age and weight information:
* Age is the players age as of August 31st*
* 6 yrs may be accepted into the program as "Developing Players" official NJFL rules will apply *
