Welcome to Back-To-Basics Baseball Camp for the summer of 2013!

"Back-To-Basics" Baseball Camps provides baseball instruction in hitting, fielding, catching, pitching, base running, and game situation and strategy. Our focus is on providing high quality Baseball Camps and Clinics for youths in Grades 2-9. Our emphasis is on teaching the fundamental mechanics of all aspects of Baseball so that all participants of our camps and clinics can improve upon the skills they already possess.

Back-to-Basics" is run by Director Tom Gihorski. There will be no other camp like ours for your childs baseball development and enjoyment. We have:

                                   Experienced Instructors

Great Location with Easy Access for Player Drop-off and Pick-up

                                  Championship Baseball Fields

                                       Quality Instruction

Indoor Facilities in Case of Rain

                                    Certified Athletic Trainers

Our Camp for the Summer of 2013, will be held at the Kings Field complex, Roswell Street, Dover, NJ (behind North Dover School). We have 4 Youth League sized fields and 1 College/Major League Baseball sized field that we will be utilizing. To accomodate as much individual instruction as possible, players are grouped according to age/grade and skill ability. We do this to maximize each player's learning experience.

In the event of rain, we have indoor facilities (gymnasium and classrooms for instruction, video tapes, lectures, and guest speakers).

On the last day of camp, we have an awards ceremony. We present achievement award certificates to all campers and trophies to the top campers in each age group. We also present a special award to the "camper of the week" in addition to "camper of the day" every day.

Coach Gihorski's respect for the game is a direct reflection on how he instructs and approaches the game of baseball.  "Never losing sight of the significance of having FUN"  A resident of Randolph, New Jersey, Tom and wife, Jill, have 2 children, Alexis and Kate.  Two very good athletes but more importantly great students who make Coach very proud!!!!!

PARENT and PLAYER TESTIMONIALS:

* "Coach G-  On Michael's behalf, I'd like to thank you for working with Michael on his game last week.  He doesn't always get the playing time he'd like, so that each up or inning can get over-emphasized.  Getting "reps" in basics skills is so key....

* "This was the best baseball camp my son has ever participated in. We will be coming back again next year".

* "Coach Gihorski showed me how to run faster and hit with more power".

* "Your coaches are great with the kids. You can see it in their interaction. I highly recommend Back-to-Basics".

* "Outstanding instruction. My son learned a lot at Camp and because of the individual attention provided, he will be a better player".

* "The coaches have made me a better player. I hit a Home Run in my All-Star game after trying a new hitting technique that gave me more power".

*"Thank you for working with my daughter on her catching skills, she has developed into an awesome catcher".

*"The counselors helped build my sons confidence".

*"I would like to thank you for holding these camps. We look forward to attending next year".
