All late registrations need to be board approved so please submit as soon as possible.

Little League greetings to all of our registered families!

This letter serves as an initial welcome to the 2012 Babylon Little League Season and to provide you with an overview of the next few months.

Your Board of Directors is hard at work organizing coaching teams, ordering uniforms,

planning  field preparation, facilitating Winter Clinics, organizing sponsors, finalizing registration numbers and preparing for Opening Day.

Important Dates to put on the calendar:

Picture Night  Thursday April 19th and Friday April 20th (your team will be assigned a specific day and time as we get closer.)

Opening Day Saturday April 21st. The Parade will start at 9:00 at Village Hall.

Draft Night for Coaches Farms, Minors and Majors will take place on March 13th. Coaches of all divisions will be contacting players during the last two weeks of March and begin to organize practice dates and times.

T-Ball- Mike Valinoti

Farms Baseball- Dina Morgan

Minors Baseball -Steve Rupolo

Majors Baseball- Mike Tuccillo

Juniors/Seniors Baseball - Nick Giampietro

Softball All Divisions- Rodney Ragen and Kevin Going

**if you have friends and neighbors who have yet to register their child and live in the Babylon Little League catchment area , please spread the word that there is still time. Online Registration ends February 15th.

As we have communicated over the last few months Wyandanch Little League is in its inaugural season and all D34 Little Leagues have been supporting them by donating equipment and offering support with trainings and league guidance.  As they build a team or two in each division of Farms, Minors and Majors Baseball they will travel from town to town and play games in the various D34 communities. If we have the opportunity to coordinate a few games with Wyandanch LL here in Babylon Village we look forward to your support in welcoming them.

Babylon 2012 Big League Winter Workout13 years and older Winter Workout Update(13th Birthday on or before April 30th, 2012)  

We had a great turnout on Saturday for our baseball workouts for the 7th grade and older level boys. (If you are in 7th grade and 12 years old league age, you can join too!)  We were in the gym for a little more than two hours and ran through a number of drills that the college level teams are using.  There are five more sessions at least so if you’re in need of shaking off the rust of the winter and want to get ready for the spring and summer seasons, this is a great way to accomplish that! We have some slots still available if you’re interested in joining the program.  Our next session is Saturday 1/21 at 5:00 PM. Feel free to contact me by email or by phone if you have any questions regarding this program.
