K and Pre-K Soccer Starts for Fall 2011

BEVERLY YOUTH SOCCER:  KINDERGARTEN SOCCER FALL 2011

Components of the Beverly Youth Soccer Kindergarten Program:

Each team will have 10-12 players on the roster.  In the developmental stages of soccer small sided teams, smaller fields, and more coach attention increases a player's ability to learn new skills and techniques.

General Information
Players will meet at their designated mini field each Saturday.   We will begin each session with a stretch and team activities, we will progress to teaching the fundamental skills of the day and end the sessions on a fun soccer skills game and team cheer.  During the program we play mini-games (teams will play each other in games).  We do not keep score, we celebrate good plays, we can cheer for goals, but really our focus as parents, coaches, and spectators are to encourage each player to have fun and learn this great game.

The system of practicing skills and techniques through fun games and then moving to small sided games enhances the skill level and confidence of players.
