Field Hockey Skills Summer Camp

      Program Description:

ALL skill levels are invited to participate that will be in 3rd - 8th grades. Also we will be offering a clinic for girls that will be entering Kindergarten - 2nd grades end of summer.  We will be teaching beginner and fundamental field hockey skills for these girls and hope to have dates finalized end of April.

      Equipment:

In addition to bring a stick, each player will be REQUIRED to wear eye goggles and a mouth guard. Please read the information on the Equipment Page for guidance on purchasing sticks and goggles. Beginner packages will be available for first time players along with other items for players that would like additional items.  

      CONFIRMED Dates & Times for June Dates, TBD for Clinic in July:

Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Graders: one day clinic will be held for this age group:
  •   TBD Summer 2012
3rd Graders and Older: 5 weekday sessions will be held for this age group:
  • Monday June 25th through Friday June 29th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

All sessions will be held at Concord Township Park - next to the Library on Smithbridge Rd - in the middle of the walking trail

Grades 3rd and Older $85.00 + BYC Capital Fee ($50 pd once per family per yr (if not already pd for 2012), and will not pay again for Fall registration) + BYC Fundraising Fee $15 when you register on-line

Get started by building a strong foundation of skills & have some FUN with BYC’s One Week Field Hockey Camp for children in grades 3rd – 8th

Township Park at Concord

June 25th thru 29th from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon.

This Camp will help your child develop new skills, make new friends and most

importantly have a memorable and fun camp experience! As they work as a team to

get a head start on the upcoming fall season. Players will learn the basic stick skills

techniques of passing, receiving, hitting and the rules of the game in a positive

environment that builds team unity camaraderie, confidence and valuable on-field

experience. Skills will be taught in group training, one on one training, drills and

skills competitions and mini field games by national and international coaches

from WC Eagles and experienced student counselors from WC Eagles,

Delaware Sharks, Field Hockey Fanatix and, Horizon Club Members.

Low camper to coach ration

Supervision: Campers will be supervised by the coaching staff

   and counselors at all times.
