March 9, 2009
Meeting called to order: 8:06 pm
ACTION ITEMS:
Minutes from February’s meeting read and accepted by members.
Changes/Corrections:
- 8 Bulldog wrestlers placed 3rd in the League Tournament.
- Congratulations to Lou and Ed for building up the BT wrestling program. Great job!

DISCUSSION ITEMS : See Attached: Monthly Meeting 3/9/09
COORDINATOR / COMMITTEE REPORTS:
SOCCER – as per Bob Eaton· 250 kids· 3/21 practice begins· 4/5 first game· Registration for Fall Soccer is mid AprilLACROSSE - as per Joe Conzola· Sat. equipment handouts.· Practice began for U13’s.· U9 and U11 practice begins next week.· Girl’s games are more laxed with scheduling.· Uniforms are almost done.· 105 players signed up.· All coaches are now in place.FOOTBALL- as per Rob Skae
CONCESSIONS - As per Lorie Dosedlo· Stand still closed. Gate to field is still locked. Does Modesto have a key? Can we get it?· Will attend parent /coaches softball meetings to discuss concession stand duties.
BASKETBALL – as per Bill Dosedlo· Last week of CBL.· 2 undefeated U9 girls’ teams.· All Pates teams qualified for play offs.· Boys 7th grade Pates lost in the semi-finals.· Girls 6th grade Pates lost in the first round but were invited to a tournament with all the 5-5 and 6-4 teams and ended up winning that tournament.· Girls 7th grade pates lost to ‘Canes in Semi Finals.· Girls 8th grade Pates lost in 1st game.
WRESTLING as per Lou Colangelo· 3/18 Participation/Awards get together.· The division will hold Quad meets.· BT will have 5 home matches next season.
SOFTBALL: as per Vince Spina· Drafts this week went well.· Thanks to Dean for being at all of the drafts as a League Rep. /Board Member.· Thanks for donation made to softball for equipment through Charlie Deichman.

- Had league meeting. 17 teams.
- Rule changes for 95 lbs.
- Defense can’t rush punt
- Can kick 2 point conversion.
- Will put out fliers to schools this year.
- Wants to field an 80 lb. team.
- Flag, 80, 95, 105, 125 (starting AND final weights)
- Pre-season game with Raiders the end of August
- Iron Pigs wants to recognize football teams.
- Sign ups in mid May.
