DISCUSSION ITEMS:
Municipal Park Soccer Fields -
Thanks given to those who showed up at the Township meeting to support the BTAA and the soccer fields. The soccer fields won by a 3-2 vote. Vince felt that the numbers and our support made the difference. Thanks especially to Tom and Bob for their continued efforts in acquiring soccer fields.
Tom thanked all for their support. He stated that when he reigned as BTAA president for the year, he promised to do his best to get field space for soccer. Tom reported that the commissioner who was thought to be behind us, did NOT support us. But, another, who had not supported us, voted our way. The Rec. Board was not happy with the Board of Commissioners for voting in favor of the soccer fields.
2. Pole Building at Meyers Lane -
One quote was just over $20,000. Waiting for other bids.
